I'll be heading down there tomorrow morning. If you wish to find me during the event, just look for the skinny white guy in a navy blue Gamer Tonight shirt.

I'm staying with Cycon, Egoraptor and Rina-Chan. Should be fun.

Cycon arrived in California 2 days ago, I plan to try and meet up with him today with Channel Cat. And Egoraptor should be flying in on Wednesday.

I know it's probably a bad idea dropping it out in public, but it'll probably make for a few laughs if I get some pranks. Not like I'll be using it for very long.. Considering I leave soon anyway.

Amazing. Truly amazing.

I've never played through a MGS game before, so it was all a first to me. Though I understood the games background and history well enough to follow the story, thanks to friends.

I wish all games were as cinematic as MGS. Really makes for a complete story.

Though, I couldn't help but sigh at the apple product placement and occasional PS3/blue ray jokes.

I'm in Los Angeles right now and I'm staying at a friends place...

He has a PLAYSTATION TRIPLE with METAL GEAR SOLID 4. I'm now playing Metal Gear Solid for the first time and I totally suck at using a PS controller.

I'm going to see how much of it I can do before Comic-Con.. Because it's totally bad ass.

Also there were some updates at Gamer Tonight.. Starting up a comic soon, still haven't got the ball rolling on it yet.

COMIC-CON SAN DIEGO:
I've already put together a basic list of people going, although I haven't updated it lately as I've been busy enjoying my time in Los Angeles.

WONCHOP AT ANIME-EXPO:
So as you might have heard, Gerkinman was throwing around stories about how Wonchop is a perverted freak and drove us all insane at Anime-Expo (also that he apparently called him, which isn't true). I think this is probably going a bit far, but I'm not here to defend him either. Just setting the story straight and kick the dead horse one last time.

Gerkinman wasn't there. I was.

Most of what he said, is in fact true. He did do and say things that just simply infuriated a lot of people.

For example:

Egoraptor got into the finals of the AX Idol voice acting competition, only to lose to a girl who got the crowd going due to a "boob joke" in Gurren Lagann. Princess Aurora ended up winning a trip to Japan after being picked at random from the seating arrangements (I was sitting next to her).

We all left the theater super happy for Aurora, yet feeling rather sorry for Ego.

After Ego came out we all went up to cheer him up, because honestly he did a really great job. He didn't make a SINGLE mistake, unlike the other contestants.

Whilst we were all comforting Ego and telling him he did a great job, Wonchop walked up to Spanio and said "look I bought new gloves" (he dresses like his fursona and he wanted gloves to add to the faggotry). Being completely and utterly out of context to what was going on, Spanio yelled at him said "NOBODY FUCKING CARES BEN!!". Now you have to understand that Spanio and Nalem road tripped with Wonchop from Kentucky... So they'd gone through much much MUCH more with him then any of us had. So Spanio was really at breaking point around here.

After the AX Idol competition, we all headed as a big group over to iHOP for dinner. After we'd finished eating, Wonchop went to the toilet leaving his belongings behind at his chair. At this point our friend Kenny had really had enough of Wonchop, so he decided to bin his belongings outside the restaurant. The next day Kenny decided to break the news to Wonchop in song and then post it online for him to find after the event.

There was also another incident where he shot a comment directed at me towards our friend Skraggy, which was something along the lines of... "AT LEAST I'D DO THE LIP SYNC BETTER". I knew he'd said something derogatory about me, even though I didn't hear. He refused to repeat it to my face.

I was told later on what he actually said. So I made him suck my dick during the filming of Gamer Tonight Live Action.

Literally.

(I'm shirtless because they needed it for the make-shift GT desk ;O)

Pretty homo-erotic hey? Yeah, I had fun.

Now to close, here's Wonchop trying to be funny singing to anime karaoke...

On one of my other blogs, I left comments for everyone I met. Quite simply I put it down as this for Wonchop...

"I know we don't have the best of history. But you really need to work on how you approach conversation. I know deep down you mean no harm, but you have to come to the realization that your actions although not intentional will inflict upon others. Girls don't appreciate guys being overly perverted to them and neither do their giant boyfriends. I tried to be as nice as possible though, as I wasn't really in the mood for drama, even though it was quite unavoidable."

There was a lot more that happened, but it'd take me forever to cover all the bases, I think that just about sums it up.

NOW STOP ASKING ABOUT IT.

I'm ready and set for tomorrows first ever SUPANOVA event to come to Perth. You can find me in the "Artist Alley" at my Gamer Tonight table, where I'll be playing some animated footage on a screen and talking to people about stuff (possibly doing silly drawings for $2).

It's taking place at the Claremont Showgrounds from the 28th and the 29th.

Then on the 30th I'm on a plane at 7:30am and on my way to AMERICA!!!

I'll be attending Anime-Expo with Egoraptor, Tomamoto, Princess Aurora, Rina-Chan, Nalem, Spanio, Wonchop and a shit load more people... Not really my scene, but it should be interesting considering the people going. Supposedly David Hayter (the voice of Solid Snake, who is a guest of honor at the event) is a fan of Metal Gear Awesome, so it should be interesting to see Egoraptor meet him.

I've been nice and busy, but everything is going to be fun from here on out.

PERTH SUPANOVA - CLAREMONT SHOWGROUNDS JUNE 27th - 29th

I wasn't sure if I'd be doing this.. But it appears the wheels are in motion and we'll be seeing a Gamer Tonight table at Supanova Perth. For those of you that don't know, Supanova is a pop-culture convention that has frequently been happening in the east of Australia. This is the first time it has ever had a presence in Western Australia.

I'll be sitting around in the "artist alley" at a table (wearing my GT shirt) with the entire series looping on a computer monitor, giving out handouts and talking to whoever feels like chatting. Because the organizers were so late getting back to me, I won't be selling anything.. I'll just be promoting shiz.

It's costing $66 to have electricity at my table! So I'll probably be bringing my wii and a TV to play with my good mate Justin (angry alcoholic chinese guy with an Australian accent who hates everything). We plan to milk the cost of the electricity for all it's worth. ;P

I'll also have one of my "minions" Yammington, who happens to be a student of mine over at the school I work for. This way I can go take a piss without getting the table robbed. He's also a brilliant flash animator and should hopefully be making an appearence with his work here on NG soon.. With a project called "Board Games" (if he finishes it!).

I've been spending the last few days working on a banner and artwork to display at the booth, which I'm rather happy with so far. I've only completed 3 of the characters so far.. Other then that I only have sketches to share.

COMIC-CON SANDIEGO - THU, JULY 24 - SAT, JULY 26- 9:30AM - 7PM

So far the response for this event has been astounding. I simply cannot wait, as it's shaping up to be MASSIVE. We've got Castle Crashers around the corner, so I guess we'll all be knocking back a drink to congratulate Tom and Dan on that.

I sent out PMs to everyone on the previous head count to see if there was interest in a "Newgrounds Outing" for all ages. I practically got a 95% positive response. From what I hear Luis and Tom have been putting some serious thought into this event.
