Just yesterday I applied for a position in the only real decent 2D animation studio I know of here in Perth. They're well known in Australia for developing the series Dogstar and Quads (both of which are developed in Flash). I caught wind of the three openings over a newsletter, so I sent them my latest showreel!.. I once had an interview there in 2005, but was unable to take it due to my Animation Diploma studies... No real guarentee at all I'll get one of the three jobs on offer, but it's a nice thought! Wish me luck!..... Please?

I don't know how many people will really be interested in this, but I thought it was worth an attempt anyway. I'm opening up art commissions! I haven't really done this in yeaaaars.

I'm heading to California soon on July 1st for a month and I'd like to try and make some extra money before I go, also I had to pay for my sites hosting recently.. So the money would be helpful.

I have all the details and costs here.. And if you choose to buy one off me you can do so through this link (but please read the instructions on the post first)...

I'm only taking a very limited number of them, so I will pull the plug on them once I reach a reasonable amount (at the unlikely scenario I do). I'll be sure to get them all done before July 1st when I leave.

I have a bunch of my art shiz from over the past few years up here if you feel like checking it out.

Other then that I hope to see most of you at either Anime-Expo or Comic-Con!

No no no.. They have a few studios. The melbourne one is the main one. They have one here in Perth and I think another in Canada? I'm not sure.

hope it goes well for you mate, im looking for some work experience with an animation company here in sydney, but i cant spare enought time for any so far because of my diploma studies.

well id like to buy some art from you man, especially to help you go to the states, but it was only recently when i found out that i didnt have enough money to go myself...sooo.... bugger off get your own bloody cash lol i need mine. if im lucky, i could end up going to comicon for maybe a day or 2, but thats pretty damn impossible.

I watched the Dogstar trailer. That's some pretty impressive use of Flash tweening techniques. Even parts of it that you know aren't 3D look very... depthy... if that's a word.

GRRHHH I can't go to Comic Con. I'd call you on the Rubberphone but I guess you don't have one of those this year.

As sad as it is, I;ve actually seen a short bit of that Dogstar on British children's television. It'd be weird to watch it and know it's animated by someone on a website I visit.
