So it appears I'll be hosting a panel at Wai-Con (January 23-24) at the Perth convention center. I'm going to be talking to people about how they can easily create their own animation for the web for near to no cost. I'll also be talking about my experiences and such. So I'll be working on a big ass presentation for that. Should be interesting! For those of you that don't know, I also teach animation at a film school during the week, so hosting a panel should be an interesting challenge.

I also plan to premiere a few brand new cartoons there! I'll also have a table at the convention with my friend Alex, who is a very talented artist. I've been teaching him to animate as of late and he's gotten rather good rather fast. We're even going to be working on a few things together next year. :)

Like Supanova in 2008, I'll also be bringing along my laptop and WACOM to animate random things in front of a crowd (I face the screen away from our table so everyone can see).

I'll try to make sure someone records the panel so I can upload it later on! Is there anything in particular you think I should talk about?

Also I should add that I'm almost done on my newest cartoon "Gameoverse 4" which is looking hilarious so far. The aim is to get it out by the end of this month.. But we'll see if I can follow through on that promise considering a few set backs.

Oh yeah and I totally forgot to post this old crappy remake of a even crappier 5 year old cartoon I created to accompany a friends audio manipulation of Half-Life 2...

don't you need a masters to teach? no offense but aside from the robot run cycle. I don't really see how you got a teaching job in animation. I wouldnt' dare teach at the level Im at.

Its not like I'm teaching art students at a university. I never said I was a "professor of animation" or anything haha. I have 2 animation diplomas, so I am qualified for the job. But yeah, teaching can be really difficult at first, but once you ease into it you learn how to deal with different age groups rather easily (I think I've been teaching for almost 3 years now). Regardless, feed back from students and teachers (I train high school teachers as well) has generally been really good. So maybe you're underestimating yourself there. When you understand a topic well enough, it become very easy to talk about.

I only have one suggestion, relax and picture them naked... or maybe draw pictures of them naked... animated pictures of them naked.

I don't see a need to. I'd rather not stuff Newgrounds full of a back log of my old work. Plus a lot of the episodes I really don't care for that much, I put my favorite ones up already.
